Darchin Mediterranean Cuisine Inc. cut the ribbon on its new Peachtree Corners location on Wednesday, October 14, according to the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce's ribbon-cuttings listing. The full-service restaurant occupies Suite 860 at 5005 Peachtree Parkway, joining a stretch of the city's restaurant corridor that has drawn a wave of new openings this year.
The ribbon cutting capped roughly a month of hiring. Darchin began recruiting servers and bartenders on September 17, according to a September 20 report from the North Atlanta Star — a sign the business was assembling its opening-day staff well before this week's ceremony. Ribbon cuttings typically mark a business's official grand opening rather than its very first day serving customers, so the restaurant may have already been quietly seating diners in the lead-up to Wednesday.
Part of a busier Peachtree Parkway
Darchin's opening adds to a run of new restaurants that have landed along Peachtree Parkway this year. A few blocks away at The Forum Peachtree Corners, Persian restaurant Golestan and high-end Japanese spot Sei Ryu both opened earlier in 2026, and food hall Politan Row added taco concept I Love Tacos, according to North Atlanta Star — part of a broader restaurant build-out in the corridor that Darchin's new location now joins, even though it sits in a separate building from the Forum's own retail row.
Darchin's ceremony was also one of several the chamber has logged in the Gwinnett business community in just the past two weeks: Homewatch CareGivers of Lawrenceville (October 13), Office Creations (October 12), and, the week before that, the Meritage Homes community at Brooks Lake and the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Duluth/Gwinnett Place (both October 8), per the chamber's running ribbon-cuttings list. It's a reminder that the county's small-business pipeline keeps producing new openings well beyond any single corridor or category.
The chamber's listing doesn't include hours, a phone number, or a menu for the new restaurant. Residents interested in trying it should check directly with Darchin as it settles into its new Peachtree Corners space.
